Founded in 1962, the IAIA is the only multi-tribal center of higher education in the United States dedicated solely to the study of Native American arts and cultures.
This grant would support a large arrangement, description, and preservation project at the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) that was recommended by a preservation assessment. This Preservation Assistance grant will aid IAIA in purchasing preservation supplies to complete the rehousing and processing of the entire backlog of institutional papers, photographs, ephemera, oversize materials, audio-visual materials, and student art describing IAIA's history. |
