The Kentucky Humanities Council (KHC) requests $46,700 for Prime Time Family Reading Time and $14,250 for Kentucky Chautauqua. KHC is currently initiating Prime Time in partnership with the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives in 8 county libraries. Our request would enable KHC to support Prime Time in 8 additional libraries during a second year and develop a track record on which to base future funding requests to private foundations. Our Chautauqua joins those of other councils nationally as a proven vehicle for teaching American history to all audiences. |
