Connecticut Landmarks (CTL) seeks funding to properly preserve and re-house the Butler-McCook Archives, part of CTL's significant historic archival and photographic collections. Funding will support the purchase of appropriate archival materials including document boxes, storage containers, print boxes, folders and negative enclosures to re-house the Butler-McCook Archives. Conservator of Photographs and Paper, Gary E. Albright, will provide conservation assistance for the project. Upon completion, CTL will be able to provide greater access to its archival collections for staff and the general public including students, teachers and scholars for exhibition, interpretation and research purposes. |
